As the founder and owner of Maddog 5/1, Revolutionary Fitness, Marydawn ~AKA Maddog~  built the studio that was missing from the community of fitness in the area.  A place that everyone felt welcome, everyone felt challenged and everyone felt the passion that was shared by the  Maddog Crew at the studio.  This one of a kind fitness experience is  a culmination of the 20+ years Marydawn spent motivating, inspiring and training everyday people to live healthier happy lives!

After 13 years away, Sarah returned to southwest Michigan in 2017 and is thrilled to be back. A lover of fitness, Sarah was an avid runner for much of her life. After completing 2 marathons, Sarah found that running alone wasn't helping her manage the stress of her career in advertising. While working in Denver, Sarah attended her first Power Yoga class and was immediately hooked. Not only was it the most physically challenging class she'd ever taken, but the focus on breath also  helped to cultivate her ability to regulate her stress response. Wanting to share this incredible practice with as many people as possible, Sarah sought her 200 hour Power Yoga certification in 2009 and Yoga Sculpt certification in 2011. Finding a style of yoga that aligned with her preference for a physical challenging was life changing and Sarah hopes to help others explore the spectrum of yoga to find a practice that works for them.
Outside of teaching, Sarah is a full-time mother to 3 young children and a part-time media strategist.
    Born and raised in a small town near Toledo, Ohio, Brittni has been a Saint Joe resident since 2012 and a certified yoga instructor since 2016. Residing in northern California, Brittni fell in love with yoga in 2010 while living next to a yoga studio! “I was marathon training and thought yoga would be great for my cross training and stretch days,” says Brittni. “It has since helped me find balance both mentally and physically in my everyday life.  Brittni has completed six full (26.2) marathons and several half marathons. As an athlete, Britt is able to communicate the practice of yoga to Maddog clients without the intimidation factor many athletes feel. Her all-level classes focus on alignment, balance, breath, cranking up the heat, and fun music!  Britt holds a  Masters Degree in International Business and works full-time in marketing.  In her free time, she loves being outdoors, international travel, hiking, running, and all things adventure.
      Originally from Toledo Ohio, Missy moved to SW Michigan in late 2010 and never looked back – she loves living, working and exercising in this beautiful community. Missy is a workout fanatic and is an AFAA certified Group Ex instructor. She also holds certifications in Real Ryder, TRX and Shockwave. When asked what her favorite thing to teach is, Missy replies “everything”! You can find her on the schedule in the early morning, at noon or in the evening on any given day.  She thinks the best thing about Maddog 5/1 is the unique atmosphere – it’s a true community where both the trainers and the clients they serve want the very best for each other and work very hard to make that happen. Outside of Maddog Missy is an empty nester but stays busy running the First Choice program for Cornerstone Alliance.
