Mimi grew up in Chicago and has lived in southwest Michigan for the past 10 years.” I have three amazing kids who keep me busy on a daily basis. I am a self- described endorphin junkie, and when I’m not chasing after my children, or my puppy, I’m chasing my other passion – XTERRA.

I do between 6 and 7 XTERRA races per season; I am the current and 4-time 40-44 division women’s world champion.  Training can be grueling at times, but it keeps me sane and makes me a better person toward both my family and friends. It continually pushes me to limits I never thought I could reach. I love the physical and mental challenges a triathlon presents I truly believe that becoming   fit is possible for anybody as long as they have perseverance.

I try and live daily the message of my favorite quote:

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”  –Mae West

Working from home meant we could vary snack and coffee breaks, change our desks or view, goof off, drink on the job, even spend the day in pajamas

Meg has always called Southwest Michigan home - a graduate of Grand Valley State University, she joined Maddog 5/1 in 2015 as a client and started by taking yoga classes. For me “it was about finding a place to get healthy without being judged.” I instantly fell in love with the comradery and support I found in the classes at Maddog. “I think the most important thing I’ve learned  about fitness is that it’s a journey and you have to take a moment to celebrate the little things along the way, above all else- be able to laugh at yourself.” When she isn’t at Maddog you can find Meaghan tapping away at her calculator at her job as an accountant. In her free time Meaghan likes to read, binge watch TV, hang out with her siblings and play with her dogs.

Born and raised in a small town near Toledo, Ohio, Brittni has been a Saint Joe resident since 2012 and a certified yoga instructor since 2016. Residing in northern California, Brittni fell in love with yoga in 2010 while living next to a yoga studio! “I was marathon training and thought yoga would be great for my cross training and stretch days,” says Brittni. “It has since helped me find balance both mentally and physically in my everyday life.  Brittni has completed six full (26.2) marathons and several half marathons. As an athlete, Britt is able to communicate the practice of yoga to Maddog clients without the intimidation factor many athletes feel. Her all-level classes focus on alignment, balance, breath, cranking up the heat, and fun music!  Britt holds a  Masters Degree in International Business and works full-time in marketing.  In her free time, she loves being outdoors, international travel, hiking, running, and all things adventure.
